Watermelon Smoothie
It is said that watermelon is an amazing weight loss fruit. For me watermelons mean more. They bring memories of summer gathering with my family. All of us sitting under a plum trees, in the garden in the sunny summer day eating watermelons. For me they are always going to be comfort food first.
With summer just around the corner you might start making your own memories.
Sometimes I like to experiment with them and try something new. That is how I came across watermelon smoothie recipe. I found it on weight loss page and straight away it caught my eye.
Original recipe was a little to heavy with too many ingredients for my taste. I like to keep it simple.

My watermelon smoothie;
This smoothie harnesses the natural sweetness of the watermelon.
Ingredients
3 cups of watermelon chunks
1 small banana, chopped
1 cup of ice
1 1/2 cups of 0% fat vanilla yogurt
Directions
- Put watermelon chunks, chopped banana, ice and yogurt in a blender. Blend until desired smoothness.
- Pour into glasses.
