Speedy Breakfast Blueberry Oats
Healthy and yummy start of the day
You may think just before summer, when days are longer, warmer and filled in with laugh you will have more time. It is actually opposite. I feel trapped in time bobble. It feels like I need extra day during a week and definitely another day between Saturday and Sunday. It might be just Holidays rush, the end of kids school year, us getting ready for so long weighted holidays. Fact is- every minute counts now and because I am in the move all day long I need quick and yet healthy start.
All last month I was oats girl. So easy, simple, quick. They will make you full; give you protein, fiber, good carbs, energy boost and metabolism boost plus more.
Yesterday I had lovely blueberry overnight oats.
It is so simple. Put your oats in a bowl, cover with some boiling water, when absorbed, mix with yogurt and fruits. On the end, add all the extras you are craving for- flaxseeds, walnuts, any dry fruits.
For my blueberry oats I used;
- 2 tablespoons of dry oats
- 1/3 cup of boiling water
- ½ cup of low fat Greek yogurt
- ½ cup of fresh blueberries
- 1 teaspoon of flaxseeds
- 1 tablespoon of dry fruits mixture
- almonds flakes
Say yes to it, get your energy booster food now. Make it perfection by drinking morning cup of fresh coffee. Will you? How you are going to have your oats today?
