How about creating green heaven on your plate? Will you be tempted to taste it? Have you ever tried any recipes from weight loss magazines?

 

Last week I have decided to buy one of weight loss magazines and see what they are writing about. There were surprisingly many different recipes. Going through the pages I came across green spaghetti recipe. Green spaghetti? Something is not right. I have decided to give it a try.

This was the first time I have made green spaghetti. Oh dear. I was so afraid to take first bite. How it tastes? Lemony, light, refreshing and incredibly good. Recipe is quick and easy in preparation. All the ingredients is well balanced and healthy.

You will be really pleased with it.

After eating it I felt full but not heavy. It kept me going for a few hours which is a really n9ice surprise. I love that there is so much greens in it. Starting from cheese sauce and finishing on fresh vegetables.

I highly recommend it to everyone. It is safe if you are breastfeeding, trying to lose weight or just looking for something new.

Skinny Green Spaghetti;

Ingredients;

  • 100g of soft cheese
  • Finely grated zest of 1 lemon
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Handful of fresh basil leaves
  • Small handful of fresh mint leaves
  • 1 ½ cup of green peas
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 300g of pasta
  • 1 cup of fresh broccoli
  • 200g of fresh asparagus

Preparation;

  • In the mixing bowl mix together soft cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, fresh basil, 1 cup of green peas. Mix it and then blend in food processor.
  • Cook pasta according to the instructions on the box. 3 minutes before it is ready ad small broccoli cut into pieces.
  • One minute before the end of cooking time, add one asparagus and the rest of green peas.
  • Drain water
  • Move pasta and veggies back into a pan. Stir in cheese sauce. Keep on heat just for a moment. Season with salt and pepper.
  • On the plates decorate with fresh mint.
