Protein- packed Halloween Treats


Happy Halloween everyone!


Do you still have big kid inside and like to treat yourself with something sweet? I am, so I have something sweet like this shake from time to time.


Don’t be fooled. It just looks sugary but is 100% safe (almost) – apart from marshmallows.




  • 1 cup low fat coconut milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
  • 1 banana
  • ½ teaspoon rich cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon dry coconut (shredded)
  • 1 tablespoon marshmallows – for topping
  • 1 tablespoon natural yogurt
  • ½ cup ice cubes




  • mix together milk, banana, cocoa powder, honey, ice cubes and protein powder in a blender
  • blend for 2 minutes
  • pour into glass. Place yogurt on the top. Sprinkle with marshmallows, coconut and some cocoa powder.


Option 2;


Pumpkin shake


Vegan, gluten free, sugar free


Make it from Halloween pumpkin leftovers.





  • 1 cup pumpkin pure
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup natural yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder – optional
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • Pinch of cinnamon



Blend all ingredients for 2 minutes. Once poured into a glass decorate with yogurt and sprinkle with cinnamon.
