Mine is awesome. Brilliant warm, sunny weather, many projects on the way. Simply, life is good. You know what is good about October, besides Halloween of course? Beetroots! They are in season now and at their best.

 

This is perfect time to introduce them into your menu.

They are amazing when it comes to detoxifying your body.

Yes, they are a perfect weapon against fat. There is more. After eating beetroot you will perform better, your energy level will increase and you will feel amazing.

My favorite way of eating beetroots is by keeping them raw and making smoothie. That way they will not lose precious minerals and vitamins.

Morning Beetroot Smoothie;

 

Ingredients;

 

  • 1 beetroot – skinless
  • 2 celery sticks
  • ½ cup of cucumber
  • 1 spoon of sunflower seeds

 

Blend all ingredients in blender with ½ cup of water for 2 minutes. Drink fresh.

 

 

TIP! If your hands become stained during preparation process, rub some lemon juice over them. The colour will be gone in a few seconds.
