Chicken Chow Mein
I am not diet freak, I never will because I love food. I can’t imagine being on the diet. I don’t understand why people would put themselves throughout such a big misery.
I believe food is out there to enjoy it, to celebrate it, to have fun creating it. I am eating everything but in rational sizes. I will eat only until I don’t feel hungry and I would never touch food if I feel full. That is when you are putting weight on, by overeating.
I have few recipes I like to come back to, especially when I have worse day. I am sure we all have such a meal. Comfort food. We love it because it make us feel good. It is not abort taste. It is more abort memories Light to that particular food.
One of my favourite comfort foods is Chicken Chow Mein.
I would not be myself without trying to make traditional recipe healthier. I like to add into Chicken Chow Mein extra carrots, mushrooms and sprouts. More nutritious stuff is always welcome on my plate.

Here it is my Chicken Chow Mein. It reminds me of fast food chow mein, but it’s not nearly as greasy. I call for chicken here, but use whatever protein you like- or none at all!
