Often I am asked how is it possible to eat six meals a day. What is the best time for them? Why do we need to eat 6 times a day?
It is all about energy, fuel and nutrients. Your body will be more efficient if you will provide steady source of necessary ingredients. Six meals a day every few hours means your energy will stay at steady, you will not feel weak. Your metabolism will stay up when your body is fuelled.
Think of your body as a car. Engine will work if there will be enough fuel, good quality fuel. In title to keep, it going you has to tank your car again and again.
You body is similar. If you skip meal, you are more likely to snack on something unhealthy, processed. That will slow down your metabolism.
Eating every few hours will stop you from binge eating, snacking, and starving. Your body will be more efficient and capable of more.
