2 Recipes to Bounce Back After Christmas
It is over and we are ready to get back in shape again. Yep. New Year craziness is still ahead of us, but why not to take first step now.
I am already getting there by creating to the most important things during day; healthy, nutritious breakfast and drink options for whole day. I am also using leftovers after Christmas.
I am using cranberries for both of these recipes.
Cranberry breakfast Delight
Light, healthy, tasty, low in calories, fat and sugar breakfast for busy moms.
Ingredients;
Serves 2
- ½ cup cranberries
- ½ lime juice
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 cup natural yogurt
- 2 tbsp cottage cheese
- 1 tbsp raspberry juice or fresh raspberries
Directions
- start from placing on the bottom of your glasses either fresh raspberries or raspberry juice
- in mixing bowl mix together cottage cheese with natural yogurt, lime juice and honey
- ready yogurt mixture pour into glasses
- cranberries go on the top
- you may sprinkle all of it with some icing sugar for winter effect
Cranberry Cucumber and Lime Liquid Extravaganza
Ingredients
Serves 4
- 1 litre of water
- 1 cup cranberries
- 1 cup cucumber, sliced
- 1 lime or lemon, sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- Handful of fresh mint
Directions
- first of all find right, large jug
- Place cranberries in it and pour into it boiling water. Leave it to cool down
- When water cools down add all the other ingredients
- Leave for about 1 hour before drinking
